Welcome Note from the President

It is an honor to have been elected to serve as President of the Kuwait Pediatric Association. I have already started to work hard to achieve our shared goals and to promote the best possible care of children, as well as the profession of Paediatrics itself.

There is no doubt that we all want to improve children’s health, both in Kuwait and elsewhere in the world. To achieve this, we need to work together, supporting research for children, ensuring that we train doctors and other healthcare workers, and giving a clear voice to children and their parents. We must also engage those involved in setting health policy, ensuring priority is given to the care and support of this vulnerable group.
